About the Awards

The NRCP Award is given annually to all deserving Members (Achievement Award), Senior Members (Member Emeritus), and Partner Institutions (Outstanding Institution) of the Council for their achievements in research, distinguished membership, and contributions to the growth and development of basic sciences, in various fields of Natural and Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. The award categories include Achievement Award, Member Emeritus and Outstanding Institution.

NRCP started conferring the Achievement Award in 1979, while the Member Emeritus in 2011 and Outstanding Institution in 2012. Honorees are conferred and recognized during NRCP’s Annual General Membership Assembly.
